Ingredients:
- 500 g of hake roe
- Salt, vinegar and olive oil
- One medium tomato
- 1/8 of an onion
- 1/4 of a green pepper
Put plenty of water in a sauce pan then add 2 teaspoons of salt, 2 tablespoons of vinegar and the hake roe. Bring up to a boil, put the lid on and turn the heat off and then leave in the pan for 10 minutes and then take it out, drain it and let it cool on a plate. Whilst it cools down, cut the tomato, green pepper and onion and add a pinch of salt, 7 tablespoons of oil and 3 of vinegar. Once the roe has cooled down then add the tomato, onion and green pepper.

And I'll get to eat it!!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds really yummy, Sammy! If I can get my hands on some hake roe in Madrid (not as easy as in Cádiz), I'll give this a try very soon!
